Feeling: Joyful, free and expansive
Story: In medieval times, strewing herbs were used to scent drafty old castles. Along the floor maids would scatter stems and blossoms of Meadowsweet so that the petals would be crushed with every step, releasing the sweet fresh scent into the air. It was said that Meadowsweet was the favourite strewing herb of Queen Elizabeth I, grown in abundance in all her castle gardens.
Notes: Top notes of citrus give way to a clean gentle floral and hints of lemon myrtle. Clean, light and fresh.
